Hangouts will continue in 2026

The Lake Washington Ham Club is pleased to announce our popular Hangout at the Hanger series will return for 2026, beginning in October. These Hangout opportunities give everyone a chance to get out during the Fall and Winter months, grab a coffee, and rag chew with others in real space.

Due to scheduling problems last year, we will be adjusting the schedule a bit and adding a new feature. We will alternate the Hangouts with "Chat 'n' Chew", where we will meet at a local eatery for a no-host lunch/brunch (Still working on a few details, and if you have a better name please let us know). We will start out with a Hangout at the Hanger for October, and a Chat 'n' Chew in November. Then back in the Hanger for December, and so on. The tentative schedule looks like:

• October - Hangout at the Hanger
• November - Chat 'n' Chew
• December - Hangout at the Hanger
• January 2027 - Chat 'n' Chew
• February - Hangout at the Hanger
• March - Chat 'n' Chew

We'll be back to our normal Rain or Shine in the local parks starting in April 2027.

So far, no details for the Chat 'n' Chew sessions are finalized. We're still figuring out which restaurant, what time (lunch or brunch), and whether we will be rotating to different restaurants for some variety. We're working on those details and will update everyone when we know more.
