Remote Exam Session Registration (GLAARG-VEC)

Registration information for GLAARG-VEC remote exam sessions held online by Lake Washington Ham Club and other organizations.

IMPORTANT: THIS REGISTRATION PAGE IS *ONLY* FOR THE GLAARG-VEC REMOTE EXAM SESSIONS GIVEN ACROSS THE INTERNET — IT IS NOT FOR THE ARRL-VEC IN-PERSON VE SESSIONS. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE FOLLOWING THE CORRECT REGISTRATION AND FEE PAYMENT FOR THE RIGHT KIND OF SESSION YOU ARE USING FOR YOUR EXAM.

The first step in the exam session registration process is either search for any online exam session by going here: http://www.hamstudy.org/sessions/online (for all online exam sessions) or searching for a session offered by our team directly via: http://www.hamstudy.org/sessions/AE7TD. Register for one of our sessions online. We will validate your registration and then send you an email to come to this page and pay your exam fee using PayPal.

The registrar will tell you to make your PayPal payment. Use this web page to make your payment.

💡

Do not pay your fee until the registrar has told you to.

You must first be re-registered before we can accept your payment. Important: the registration process is not complete until your exam fee payment is complete. If you register for an exam slot without paying your exam fee, then you will be turned away at the exam session. In addition, your slot would have been wasted because another prospective ham could be licensed because the slot was filled.

GLAARG-VEC Exam fees are waived for the following candidates:

Youth 18 years of age or under
Students with a current student ID
Active-duty military
Veterans
First responders
GLAARG-accredited VEs upgrading from General to Extra

If you feel that you qualify to have your exam fee waived, instead of paying via PayPal, email exam.registrar@lakewashingtonhamclub.org with a 2-3 sentence supporting statement.

Once your PayPal payment is processed the Registrar will email you a final commitment for the exam session. One day prior to the exam session you will be emailed information about the Zoom meeting.

Important: In the PayPal box below insert your name as it appears in your http://hamstudy.org/sessions registration. The Form 605 that will be sent to the FCC uses that as your name.
